COMMEMORATION OF THE PROPHET’S BIRTH (S.A.W)

The date of 12 Rabi Al Awwal, corresponding to 571 CE (Christian Era) of paramount importance in the history of Islam and for the whole Muslim Ummah all over the globe. This was a new and exceptional day rose on the Arabic peninsula Makkah, announcing the birth of a great man ever created in living memory. In that same year which saw the destruction of the people of elephant wanting to conquer Makkah, was par excellence the date Muhammad son of Abdullah and Aminah was born. The prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) was born in Makkah in the noble tribe of the Quoraish on 12 of Rabi Al Awwal. The birth of this great personality was a sign of the divine mercy for the two creations: Men and Jinns. Sent by the Beneficent and the Merciful Allah, it is the prophet (s.a.w) who will rescue the entire mankind from the profound darkness and guide them to the Light of Islam, the religion revealed to him by Allah (S.W.T) at the age of forty, through the great nobility of his character.

On this occasion of the Maouloud commemoration, WAMA is organizing a conference this Saturday 27 February 2010 from 18hr 00 – 22hr: 00.
